Custom Web Design Built by Senior Engineers
MIS Services Inc has been designing and building websites for U.S. businesses since 2013. Over 1,000 client websites later, we still write code by hand. We do not assemble Elementor or Divi templates and call them custom designs.
Most web designing companies in the U.S. fall into two categories. The first sells page-builder WordPress (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery) with stock photos, shipping in two weeks. The second sells Wix or Squarespace templates with minor customization. Both produce sites that load slowly, score poorly on Google Core Web Vitals, and look like the other 40 sites that company built last quarter. Both also lock you into their toolchain — leaving means rebuilding.
We work differently. Our team includes senior front-end developers writing React and Next.js, and back-end engineers writing PHP for hand-coded WordPress themes. We measure every site against Core Web Vitals targets (LCP under 2.0 seconds, INP under 150ms, CLS under 0.05). We build to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards because New York State has active ADA lawsuit exposure for public-facing sites. Our own misservices.us site is built in Next.js — sub-2-second loads, 95+ Lighthouse mobile scores, fully custom. That is the standard we hold every client build to.
Below: the six services we offer, an honest custom-vs-template comparison, transparent maintenance pricing, and how to start.
Custom Builds by Stack
Custom Next.js / React
Hand-coded sites in React + Next.js for businesses where speed and SEO matter most. Sub-2-second loads, Lighthouse scores in the 90s, fully custom UI.
Custom WordPress
Hand-coded WordPress themes (not Elementor templates) for businesses needing CMS editing. WooCommerce, ACF Pro, headless WordPress with Next.js frontends.
Shopify Builds
Shopify Plus and standard Shopify with custom themes, Stripe/PayPal integration, ShipStation, QuickBooks sync, subscription billing, B2B pricing tiers.
Core Web Vitals
LCP under 2.0 seconds, INP under 150ms, CLS under 0.05. Measured against real-user data, not just lab tests.
WCAG 2.2 AA Accessibility
ADA-compliant builds with semantic HTML, proper alt text, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, color contrast. axe-core audits and manual review. NY ADA lawsuit risk mitigation.
Maintenance & Updates
Ongoing site maintenance — security patching, performance monitoring, content updates, A/B testing, conversion optimization.
